8 Steps To Success

Alexander Graham Bell once so aptly said:
The most successful men in the end are those whose success is the result of steady accretion. It is the man who carefully advances step by step, with his mind becoming wider and wider – and progressively better able to grasp anytheme or situation ”.
Steady accretion” is the key to discovering how to succeed — or in modern terms we would simply say “One Step At A Time
Remember in the last post we considered the process we went through when learning to ride a bicycle.
Most of us certainly did not get on a bicycle for the first time and start racing down the street doing little tricks over the curb.
No, it took time to achieve the balance. We set our minds to master the skill and we practised.
Some of us even started with trainer wheels and when they were taken off we probably took a few spills at first before cycling became “second nature” to us.
So it is with learning the skills required to Succeed Online. We simply take one step at a time.
We need to:
- Set our minds towards success. That means deciding we want to succeed and being determined to achieve it.
- Take time to seek training. There is a wealth of material available from which we can learn all we need to know in order to succeed. When we study a book, audio or video, it is always good to take some notes and add some comments as to how we plan on applying what we are learning so we can fulfill then put it into practise.
(Click here to see a highly recommended way to start learning the skills needed to succeed)
- Practise what we learn as well as our testing our own variations (the comments we wrote in our notes when we studied the lessons, books and videos). This way we will add our own personality to our business and it WILL work for us.
- Determine that nothing is going to stop us from reaching our goal, no failures, “trips or falls” will discourage us. We WILL SUCCEED.
- Remember that the more we practise and continue to apply ourselves with discipline and determination the easier it will get. So keep going! Stay focused!
- Continue! Know that it will get easier and consequently more enjoyable. The “work” will become fun
- Know that the rewards will come. We will master the learning curve and the real fun and rewards will result. Remember many things we do will now that seem soeasy were once hard.
- Continue to apply our new skills to maintain our business and also take it to new levels of success. We took one step at a time, and reached our goals
