Hello,
This is Jill Rapley with a very quick background.
I am a kiwi which means I am from New Zealand also know as Aotearoa, and have spent over 30 years on this side of the world, mostly in Mexico.
The first years in Mexico were spent working with children in Sunday School and Vacation Bible School settings.
Then I started participating in seminars (and later organizing my own) aimed at training Children’s workers and parents.
This of course involved preparing my own teaching material, notes, handouts and overhead project slides.
When I first arrived in Mexico there was little available for children, so I wrote a series of 5 booklets for them (“Templos Vivientes”, yes they were written in Spanish). These were distributed throughout Mexico and Central America (over 300,000 copies in total).
Later to answer the demand, I wrote and published Teacher’s Guides to accompany each booklet. All of these booklets are registered with the S.E.P. in Mexico (Secretary of Public Education).
Currently residing in Texas, USA – I started exploring the online world somewhere around 1999 or so. At the time there was a lot of hype which I did not like so abandoned that project and concentrated on making websites for others.
Being a self taught learner, I soon found plenty of tutorials on the internet that could teach me simple php, mysql and of course html.
Then life threw me some curves, finally a major one being a car accident in Mexico (car rolled, I will never drive a Chrysler again) and I left the internet for a while.
Now I am back with renewed interest and vision. I started exploring again and found lots of new methods that certainly appeal to me such as blogging, article marketing, relationship marketing. All of these methods can be used for affiliate marketing.
I love to teach, write and work with all sorts of media, so hence this blog. Here I seek to share some of the things I have learned and trust they will help you along the road to great success.
I have a habit of turning my hobbies into my work and I am about to do it again!
I look forward to meeting you via email (info@kiwichamp.com), or twitter (kiwichamp will find me) and it would even be great to see you in person one day soon.
